What is templo sud?

Templo Sud, also known as the Lima Peru Temple, is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It is located in Santiago de Surco, Lima, Peru and is the only LDS temple in Peru. The temple was announced on April 3, 1981 and was built on a plot of 5.4 hectares. Ground was broken for the temple on September 15, 1983, and it was dedicated on January 10, 1986, by then-LDS Church president Ezra Taft Benson. The temple has a colonial-style design and features an impressive design that includes a spire reaching towards the sky. It is one of the most visited sites in the region, drawing thousands of visitors each year.
